Mário Júnior

Mário Júnior has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Mário currently works as the Head of Software Development at Vodacom Mozambique since September 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Standard Bank Moçambique as an IT Solutions Architect from June 2018 to August 2019, and as a Software Engineer from July 2017 to June 2018. Before joining Standard Bank Moçambique, Mário worked as a Software Developer at Millennium bim from September 2016 to March 2017.

Earlier in their career, Mário held positions at Cloud Digital Arts as a Software Development Lead from December 2015 to August 2016, where they managed the software lifecycle and used SCRUM methodology. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer from March 2014 to December 2015. Mário also gained experience as an Android Developer at MillPáginas from April 2012 to January 2014, where they worked on developing a chat application for web, Android, and IOS platforms.

Mário's work experience also includes a short-term role as an Android Development Course Consultant at KETI (Korea Electronics Technology Institute) in September 2013, where their goal was to assist students in understanding course material. Additionally, Mário worked as a Computing Olympiads Monitor (pascal programming) at the Ministerio da Ciencia e Tecnologia in August 2009, where they taught programming logic and basic knowledge of pascal programming to secondary school teachers in Inhambane's province.

Throughout their career, Mário has gained expertise in software development, solutions architecture, and team management.

Mário Júnior obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Informatic, General from ISTEG between 2012 and 2015. Additionally, they obtained the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from Oracle in 2016.
