Simon Karikari

Simon Karikari has extensive work experience in finance and executive leadership roles. Since 2022, they have been the Chief Executive Officer of Vodacom Mozambique. Prior to this, they worked at Millicom (Tigo) from 2014 to 2021, where they held various positions including Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer - Tigo Tanzania, and Director of Finance - Africa. From 2009 to 2013, they served as the Head of Finance & Reporting at UKSH. Earlier in their career, they worked at Phones4u as a Finance Manager and Financial Controller, and at ECA Inspection and Control Ltd as a Financial Controller. Simon began their career as an Audit Intern at Deloitte Bostwana from 2000 to 2002.

Simon Karikari attended Pope John from 1989 to 1996. Simon obtained a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Botswana from 1996 to 2000. In 2001, they obtained a certification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
