Amit Nagwekar

Amit Nagwekar has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. AMIT is currently serving as the Vice President at Vodafone Idea Limited since October 2021. Prior to this, Amit held the position of Chief Technology Architect at Radisys Corporation from May 2020 to October 2021. From October 2016 to May 2020, they worked as a Principal Sales Consultant at Oracle. Amit also gained valuable experience as a General Manager at Reliance Jio from January 2015 to September 2016. Before that, they served as a Senior Manager at Ericsson from October 2011 to January 2015, where they were responsible for technical solutions for the Vodafone account. Amit's career began as a Customer Support Engineer at BPL Telecom in December 1996 and they have since held various managerial roles at Tata Teleservices Ltd and Reliance Communications.

Amit Nagwekar completed their education at various institutions. AMIT obtained a Diploma in Industrial Electronics from VPM's Polytechnic in the years between 1992 and 1995. Later, they pursued a BCA - Bachelor of Computer Applications from Madurai Kamaraj University from 2005 to 2008. Amit then attended the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology - SMU, where they earned an MBA in Information Technology in the period from 2009 to 2011. AMIT continued their education at the same institution and completed a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) between 2011 and 2013. Additionally, Amit obtained several certifications, including Ericsson Certified IMS Associate, JNCIS-SECURITY, JNCIP-SP, Ericsson Certified IP Network Associate, JNCIS-SP, JNCIA, and CCNA, from various institutions and years.
