Dr. Kapil Singhal

Dr. Kapil Singhal has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of data analytics and management. Dr. Kapil has held several leadership positions in various companies. Currently, they are the Vice President-Data and Analytics at Vodafone Idea Limited, where they are responsible for leading the analytics function and implementing new age technologies in big data, AI, and ML. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Analytics at Marsh McLennan, where they established a vision and strategic direction for analytics COE data and analytics platform services. Dr. Kapil also has experience as a Sr. Manager- Analytics at Numantra Technologies, where they led a team of data analysts and engineers and managed analytics and reporting projects. Additionally, Dr. Singhal has worked as a Sr. Project Manager at Tricom India, where they oversaw the delivery of BI solutions to clients, and as a Project Manager at Impact B2B Consultants and SPEC INDIA, where they played a key role in implementing BI projects. Their early career experience includes working as a Team Lead at EMTPL, where they developed database applications to improve internal reporting processes. Dr. Kapil Singhal completed their education from various institutions. Dr. Kapil began their academic journey at Rajasthan University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering. Dr. Kapil then pursued an MBA degree in International Business + Sales and Marketing from Amity University between 2003 and 2005. Finally, they attended IP University from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Business Intelligence.
