Mukesh Sharma

Mukesh Sharma has over 25 years of work experience in various finance-related roles. Mukesh began their career as an Account Officer at Lazor QSS Group of Companies from August 1995 to November 1998. Mukesh then worked as a Manager of Account and Finance at Vatsa Music Ltd from November 1998 to May 2002. Mukesh joined Reliance Communications Ltd in May 2002 and held the position of Retail Commercial Head & Lo, where they managed budget control, compliance, and business partnering. Mukesh also handled end-to-end warehouse management and controlled financial, commercial, and collection operations for the Ludhiana cluster. In November 2007, they started working at Vodafone India Ltd, where they held various roles such as SCM Head for the Delhi circle and VP Finance-CFO Bihar Circle. Mukesh was responsible for managing statutory financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as cash flow monitoring and working capital management. Mukesh then moved on to Vodafone Idea Limited in 2018 and worked as VP Finance-Cost Management/Transformation and Integration, where they handled budgeting, planning, and monitoring of opex for 26 business units and 7 entities. Mukesh also guided in the development and implementation of transformation processes and conducted internal and external benchmarking for profitability improvement areas.

Mukesh Sharma completed their post-graduation in Finance and Financial Management Services from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a bachelor's degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of Mumbai in 1992. Mukesh also holds a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn, obtained in 2021.
