Taj Anwar has an extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Taj started their career at Aegis Bpo Services Limited as the Head of Training for the TTSL Project in Kolkata from September 2005 to July 2009. Taj then moved to Idea Cellular Ltd and held the position of Head of Inbound Operations and Customer Communication from July 2009 to October 2012. In this role, Taj managed call center operations, focused on improving customer experience, and implemented cost control strategies. Following that, Taj served as a Manager/Senior Manager in Customer Acquisition Tangent-Field Operations at Idea Cellular Ltd from November 2012 to January 2014. Taj was responsible for managing field operations, vendor compliance, and team productivity. Taj's most recent position was with Vodafone Idea Limited, where they worked for seven years. Taj initially served as a General Manager for Service Operation Management of contact centers, managing customer care and improving processes from January 2014 to April 2020. Taj later held the position of Vice President of National CS Operational Head-Back Office, responsible for customer experience and partner operations management, from May 2020 to May 2023. Currently, Taj is working as the Vice President of Customer Service Operations East Cluster at Vodafone Idea Limited, starting from April 2023.

Taj Anwar completed a Digital Marketing degree at XLRI Jamshedpur from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained an MBA in Marketing/Marketing Management from ICFAI from 2011 to 2013. They also hold a Master of Commerce (M.com) from Annamalai University from 2005 to 2007 and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.com Hons) from the University of Calcutta from 2002 to 2005. They have additional certifications in Innovation through Design from The University of Sydney Business School and Design Thinking from HP and LinkedIn. Taj Anwar also holds a Black Belt Six Sigma certification from Aditya Birla Management Corporation Pvt Ltd.
