Mal Smyth

Mal Smyth is the Global Head of Cyber Governance, Risk and Control at Vodafone, where they lead enterprise-wide strategies to manage Cyber Security risks. With a robust background in governance, risk, and controls, Mal has held significant roles at companies such as JP Morgan Chase, where they managed technology risk and controls for the Corporate and Investment Bank. Their earlier experience includes serving as the Head of IT Strategy at AXA and an Infrastructure Manager at UBS Investment Bank. Mal holds a B.A. in Physics from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Oxford.
