Pietro Pisanelli

Pietro Pisanelli serves as the Head of Compliance and Risk Management at Vodafone, where notable achievements include the establishment of the Compliance function in 2017 and an innovative assurance model in 2021. Previously, Pisanelli held various leadership roles, including Head of Internal Audit for Vodafone Italy and Vodafone Automotive, where efforts focused on evolving the Internal Audit function to leverage digital advancements and data analytics. As an Audit Manager in Group Audit, Pisanelli set up an international team to enhance internal audit practices across Vodafone's global operations. Earlier positions included Finance Governance Processes & Compliance Manager and Internal Audit Manager, where responsibilities encompassed leading teams, managing compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, and operational audits. Pisanelli began a career in consulting and CPA practices after earning a degree in Economics from the University of Naples ‘Parthenope’.
