Ralf Irmer

Ralf Irmer is the Chief Innovation Architect at Vodafone Germany, leading the Vodafone Tech Innovation Center in Dresden and focusing on Innovation Architecture within Vodafone Germany Innovation since March 2015. Ralf has a strong background in innovative technology and corporate strategy, previously serving as Senior Manager Corporate Strategy and establishing Vodafone Germany's first 5G program, including initiatives like Connected Car and Mobile Edge Cloud. Ralf's experience extends to an Advisory Board Member role for the 6G SENTINEL project at Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and previously held senior management roles at Vodafone Group where responsibilities included leading global 5G activities and developing key wireless communication strategies. Ralf's academic foundation includes a Dipl.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden and research roles at TU Dresden focusing on wireless algorithms.
