Jacek Sawko has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Jacek started their career as an Electrical Designer's Assistant at PROTECH Robert Arciszewski in 2018. In 2019, they joined Transition Technologies PSC Sp. z o.o. as a Software Trainee and later became a Junior Java IoT Developer. During this time, they implemented and modified solutions on the Thingworx Platform and participated in international projects.
In 2020, Jacek joined Heimdall Data as a Software Engineer, where they worked on the development and deployment of the Heimdall Proxy, a next-generation data access layer. Jacek was responsible for auto-caching SQL results and routing queries for increased scale and performance.
In the same year, Jacek also worked at Acaisoft as a Java Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included developing and maintaining a microservice in the FinTech domain, integrating it with other microservices, systems, and APIs. Additionally, they developed and maintained various libraries serving different purposes such as utilities, validation, and integration.
Most recently, Jacek started working at Vodeno as a Software Engineer in 2023.
Jacek Sawko attended the Warsaw University of Technology from 2014 to 2016, where they pursued a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Although the degree name is not provided, it can be assumed that they were working towards a Bachelor's degree. Afterward, Jacek transferred to the Bialystok University of Technology, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2016 to 2018.
In addition to their formal education, Jacek also obtained certifications outside of their academic studies. Jacek obtained the SEP E certification from Stowarzyszenie Elektryków Polskich (SEP) in June 2017. Furthermore, they received the TOEFL IBT certification with a score of 94/120 from The IELTS TOEFL Centre in August 2012.
