Jakub Słowik

Jakub Słowik has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Jakub started their career in 2006 as a Consultant/IT Specialist at Centrum Bankowości Bezpośredniej Sp. z O.O. In 2008, they joined Bank BPH as a Senior Administrator until 2013. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at Alior Bank S.A. in various roles, including Lead Linux Expert and Acting Manager of the Internet Platform Team. Jakub then became the IT Team Manager/Lead Linux Expert at Alior Bank S.A. from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are working at Vodeno as a Cloud Engineer, and they recently transitioned to the role of Senior Cloud Engineer.

Jakub Słowik obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Teleinformatics Systems from Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, completing it from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Jakub obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PEOPLECERT in November 2011. Jakub also achieved various Google Cloud certifications, including Professional Cloud Architect in April 2021, Professional Cloud Network Engineer in January 2022, and Professional Cloud Security Engineer in July 2022. Furthermore, Jakub completed the Networking in Google Cloud Platform Specialization from Coursera in September 2019 and the Cloud Architecture with Google Cloud Specialization from Coursera in April 2020. Most recently, they obtained a Beginner Beekeeping Course [Flow / Langstroth] certification from TheBeekeeper.org in October 2022.
