Madeleine Glick has a long and varied work experience in the field of research and engineering. Madeleine began their career in 1983 as a Research Assistant at EPFL, where they were a project manager, designing and characterizing lasers and modulators. In 1994, they were a Visiting Research Scientist at the University of Oxford. From 1997 to 2002, they were a Research Scientist at Marconi PLC, and then a Principal Engineer at Intel Labs from 2002 to 2011. Madeleine then worked as a Senior Scientist at APIC Corporation from 2011 to 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they were a Senior Research Scientist and Adjunct Associate Research Professor of Optical Sciences at The University of Arizona. From 2017 to 2019, they were an Industry Liaison Officer, AIM Photonics Academy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Madeleine is currently a Senior Research Scientist at Columbia University in the City of New York. Additionally, they have held the role of Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University from 2008 to present.

Madeleine Glick has a PhD and Master of Arts in Physics from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts from Queens College CUNY.
