Martijn Verhagen

Martijn Verhagen is a specialist in herding with extensive experience in agricultural management and advisory roles. Currently employed at Voergroep Zuid as a Specialist Herkauwers since February 2022, Martijn previously served as a board member and treasurer for Brabants Agrarisch Jongeren Kontakt (BAJK) until September 2023. Martijn's career includes roles as a technical specialist at FG Bedrijfsontwikkeling and assistant herd manager at CAG Ceres Agrar GmbH. A graduate of HAS Green Academy with a degree in Business Administration and Agribusiness, Martijn also completed an integrated course on ruminants at Wageningen University & Research. Early experiences include internships at FrieslandCampina, Countus accountants + adviseurs, and financial analysis projects related to livestock health and sustainability.
