Vinod Kumar Asnani

Vinod Kumar Asnani has extensive experience in digital transformation and consultancy roles. Vinod Kumar most recently served as the Head of Digitalization APAC at voestalpine, where they were responsible for developing and implementing digitalization strategies for the company's subsidiaries in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to that, they worked as an Industry 4.0 Consultant at Siemens, where they provided digital transformation consultancy services to various customers in the Asia region. Vinod also worked at ATS Global as a Digitalization Leader and Project Manager, providing consultancy for digital transformation and managing IT and automation projects. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Application Engineer at ATS Global, a Product Design Engineer at Fujitec Singapore Corporation Limited, and an Automation Engineer at DNR Process Solutions. Vinod began their career as a Research Intern at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology.

Vinod Kumar Asnani obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Electronics Technology from NED University of Engineering and Technology, graduating in 2006. Vinod Kumar then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Control & Automation from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, completing their studies in 2009. In 2020, Vinod enrolled in the MicroMasters Program in Digital Leadership at Boston University, which they completed in 2021.

Additionally, Vinod has earned various professional certificates. In 2013, they obtained the PRINCE 2 Foundation and PRINCE 2 Practitioner certifications from APMG International. In 2015, they achieved the MES Certified certification from Sepasoft, Inc. and the SCADA Gold Certified certification from Inductive Automation. In 2019, Vinod obtained the Professional Certificate in Digital Transformation Strategy from Boston University. More recently, in 2020, they earned the Professional Certificates in "Leading in the Digital Age" and "Platform Strategy for Business" from Boston University. Vinod further expanded their educational pursuits in 2020 by obtaining a Professional Certificate in Data Science from Harvard University.
