Bharath Ramakrishna

Bharath Ramakrishna, PhD, MBA has had a diverse range of work experiences. Bharath is currently serving as an Expert Community Member at Alumni Ventures since December 2023. Additionally, they hold the position of Vice President, Innovation at VOIANT™ since January 2023. From May 2018 to January 2023, they worked as the Director, Product/Engineering at MedQIA. Prior to that, they worked in Engineering / Research and Development at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA from July 2010 to May 2018. Bharath began their career as a Medical Imaging Scientist at Eigen Inc, where they worked from October 2008 to May 2010.

Bharath Ramakrishna, PhD, MBA, completed their education with a BE degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from PES University in 2002. Bharath then pursued further studies at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, obtaining an MS in Computer Engineering from 2002 to 2004, followed by a PhD in the same field from 2002 to 2008. Later, they attended the UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2015 to 2018, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Product Management and Strategy. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster from ScrumAlliance.
