Mutlu Civiroglu

Mutlu Civiroglu is an experienced Syria and Kurdish affairs analyst and reporter, with a focus on Kurdish issues, human rights, and regional politics in the Middle East. Since June 2009, Mutlu has contributed to major media outlets including CNN, BBC, and Al Jazeera, delivering analysis in English, Kurdish, and Turkish. Additionally, Mutlu has been a broadcaster and reporter with Voice of America and a Kurdish and Turkish interpreter for the U.S. Department of State since 2009. A seasoned freelance Kurdish instructor, translator, and tester since 1998, Mutlu also worked as a translator and proofreader for K International from 2002 to 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education from Concordia University-Portland and a degree in Political Science from Charter Oak State College, supplemented by studies at Columbia College and the University of Ankara.
