Kinuko Masaki

Kinuko Masaki has over 25 years of experience in the field of technology. Kinuko began their career in 1996 as a Ph.D. graduate student at Harvard/MIT HST. In 2006, they moved to Stanford University as a Post-doc. In 2010, they started working as a Scientific Consultant for Fluidigm Corporation and a Principal Scientist for Advanced Bionics. In 2012, they became a Consultant for EarLens. In 2013, they took on the roles of Clinical Study Coordinator and Principal R&D Scientist for EarLens. In 2015, they became the CEO & Co-Founder of SmartEar, Inc., where they were responsible for revolutionizing the ear. In 2018, they became the CEO & co-founder of VoiceMe. AI, an enterprise voice analytics platform. Most recently, in 2021, they founded and became the CEO of VoiceBrain.

Kinuko Masaki attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 1996, followed by a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in 1997. Kinuko then returned to MIT to pursue a Ph.D. in Harvard-MIT Health Science and Technology, which they completed in 2006. Following their doctoral studies, they became a Ph.D. post-doctoral fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine, where they studied stem cells from 2006 to 2009.
