Matt Gibson

VP Innovation at Voiceitt

Matt Gibson has worked for several companies throughout their career. Matt started as a Software Engineer and Technical Training Specialist at Business Objects in 2000. In 2008, they moved to the University of Cambridge as a Research Associate. Matt then went on to the University of Sheffield in 2011, where they served as a Principal Research Scientist. In 2020, they joined Voiceitt as a Lead Algorithm Researcher.

Matt Gibson obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Glasgow between 1990 and 1994. Matt then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oxford between 1995 and 1996. Following this, they obtained a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Speech Recognition and Natural Language Processing from the University of Cambridge between 2003 and 2004. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Speech Recognition from The University of Sheffield between 2004 and 2008.
