Andrés Pérez López

Andrés Pérez López has a diverse and extensive work experience. Andrés is currently working as a Technical Product Manager at Voicemod since May 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Audio Tech Lead at Voicemod from September 2020 to May 2022.

Before joining Voicemod, Andrés worked as a Teaching Staff at ENTI Escola de Noves Tecnologies Interactives from March 2019 to August 2020. Andrés also worked as an Audio Research Scientist at Eurecat - Centro Tecnológico de Catalunya from April 2016 to August 2020. During the same time frame, they were a Teacher Assistant at Universitat Pompeu Fabra - UPF.

Prior to these roles, Andrés worked as a Mobile C/C++ Audio Developer at Voicemod from October 2015 to April 2016. Andrés was also a Teacher Assistant at Universitat Pompeu Fabra - UPF from September 2013 to July 2014.

Additionally, Andrés gained research experience as an External Researcher at the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications - Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in 2012. Andrés focused on the development of a Wave Field Synthesis software environment for psychoacoustic tests and conducted research on Computational Auditory Scene Analysis with a focus on Home Environmental Sounds through Sparse Representations.

Furthermore, Andrés has collaborated as a team member at the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience - Technische Universität Berlin in 2010.

Andrés Pérez López's education history includes multiple degrees and fields of study. From 2017 to 2020, they were a PhD candidate in Music Technology at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Prior to that, they completed a Master in Sound and Music Computing at the same institution from 2013 to 2014. In 2012, they obtained a Título de Especialista Universitario en Música Electrónica y Electroacústica from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Before that, from 2009 to 2011, they studied Telecommunication Engineering at Technische Universität Berlin. Finally, from 2005 to 2012, they pursued a Telecommunication Engineering degree at Universitat Politècnica de València, with a specialization in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
