Xavier Tremblay St-Germain has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software development.
From 2019 to the present, Xavier has been working as the Lead Backend Developer at Evolia (formerly Voilà! Technologies).
Prior to that, Xavier worked at Cortex as a Team lead – Developer from March 2019 to September 2019. During this time, they implemented, maintained, and advised on multiple complex backend projects in Go, Node.js, and C#. Xavier also managed distributed infrastructures on AWS using modern cloud technologies such as ECS and Kubernetes. Before becoming a team lead, Xavier worked as a Full-stack Developer at Cortex from December 2017 to March 2019.
Xavier's work experience also includes a role as a Developer at Stratson from September 2017 to December 2017. In this position, they worked on Salesforce implementations and managed data migration and data integration from multiple source systems. Xavier was also responsible for DevOps and product development using C#.
From June 2016 to September 2017, Xavier worked at Deloitte Canada as a Solution Developer. Xavier focused on Salesforce projects, contributing to design, development, testing, and ongoing support. Xavier also provided leadership and training for Salesforce Lightning across the Canadian practice and played a role in establishing best practices and the growth of the Salesforce development team.
Xavier's earlier work experience includes a role as a Full-stack Developer at Ticketmaster from May 2015 to August 2015, where they were part of the team responsible for the season ticket sale on Ticketmaster.com in North America. Xavier was involved in the design, implementation, and refactoring of administrator and development tools using PHP and MySQL.
Finally, Xavier worked as a Full-stack Developer at Ministère des Transports du Québec from May 2014 to December 2014. In this position, they designed and implemented ASP.NET user interfaces to display data gathered from all roads across the province of Québec using a SQL Server Spatial database.
Xavier Tremblay St-Germain obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Université Laval. Xavier attended the university from 2012 to 2016.
