Kurt L.

Kurt L. has extensive experience in the field of thermal coatings and paper technology, currently serving as Application Manager for Thermal Coatings & Hard Press Roll Covers at Voith Group since June 2001, overseeing the EMEA and South Africa regions. Previously, Kurt held various roles at Voith, including Head of Apprenticeship, local coordinator for apprenticeship programs, and Application Engineer in both Wet End & Thermal Coatings and Hard Press Rolls. Prior to Voith, Kurt's career included positions in operation scheduling at FURAL Metalldecken and sales management at GESCHMAY (now Albany International), with early experience in sales and application of paper chemicals at OEKOPHIL AG (now Nalco) and technical roles at SCA Graphic Laakirchen. Kurt holds an Academic Business Manager degree from Danube University Krems and additional qualifications in paper technology and leadership/HR management from trade schools and institutions in Austria.
