Robert Hilbing

Robert Hilbing serves as the Senior Vice President R&D for Voith Paper FRS since October 2017. Prior experience includes Vice President of New Business & Research and Senior R&D Manager at Voith Paper from August 2012 to September 2017, and Head of HR Marketing and Strategic Recruitment at Voith GmbH between May 2011 and July 2012. From June 2003 to April 2011, Robert held multiple roles at Voith Paper, including Head of HR Marketing and Head of Advanced Technology Development. Earlier in Robert's career, significant contributions were made as Chief Engineer and Head of Precision and Microtechnology at Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnologie IPT from July 1995 to May 2003. Academic credentials include a TGM FSF degree from INSEAD in 2023, a Dr.-Ing. in Maschinenbau from RWTH Aachen / Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnologie IPT, and a Diplom in Physik from RWTH Aachen University (1989-1995).
