Reid Lappin is the founder and CEO of Vokal, a mobile app development company based in Chicago. Reid has over 10 years of experience in the industry, and has been involved in the development of numerous successful apps.
Reid founded Mobile Makers Academy in 2012, which was acquired by HackReactor in 2016. Mobile Makers Academy is an iOS bootcamp that teaches people how to build iPhone apps. It is one of the most successful bootcamps in the world, with graduates going on to have successful careers as iOS developers.
In addition to their work at Vokal, Reid is also a mentor and advisor for several startups, and is passionate about helping others grow their businesses. Reid is a frequent speaker at industry events, and their work has been featured in various publications, including Forbes and TechCrunch.
Reid Lappin graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelors Degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Reid then went on to study at the University of Dayton and St. Viator.
