Adriana Roopnariane

Adriana Roopnariane's work experience begins with their current role as a Senior Research Associate at Volastra Therapeutics, which they started in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Scientist at Stelexis Therapeutics from January 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining Stelexis Therapeutics, Adriana held a long-term position at ImClone Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, where they served as a Senior Research Associate from July 2010 to January 2020. In this role, they were a member of the virus core team, responsible for the scale-up, purification, and titer of viruses. Adriana utilized various purification kits, including cesium chloride, Clontech's AdenoX Mega purification Kits, and ABM's Add-N Pure Kits.

Additionally, Adriana briefly worked as a Research Associate at Therasis Inc. in 2010 and as a Research Technician II/Laboratory Manager at Pennsylvania State University, starting in June 2009 and ending in February 2010. During their time at Pennsylvania State University, they worked under Dr. Timothy Ritty, assisting with laboratory experiments, inventory management, laboratory equipment operation, surgical procedures on mice, data collection, instruction of students, and literature searches.

Adriana Roopnariane obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General from Purchase College, SUNY, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Adriana then pursued a Master's degree in Genetics at Penn State University from 2006 to 2009.
