Gavin Jakubik

Gavin Jakubik is a Founding Engineer at Volca, specializing in AI marketing for the trades since January 2025, supported by notable backers including Recall Capital. Prior to this role, Gavin served as a Senior Software Engineer at iCapital from August 2022 to January 2025 and began their career as a UI Engineer at SIMON Markets LLC in June 2022, which was subsequently acquired by iCapital. Gavin also completed an internship at Quicken Loans in 2021, where a feature developed for the credit system improved the loan process for thousands of bankers. Earlier experience includes work as a Contractor at Bluefish Fine Builders during the summer of 2018 and 2019. Gavin holds a degree in Computer Science, with a focus on Computer Software Engineering, from the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 2022.
