Claudio Castro serves as the Volcafe Way Manager at Volcafe since December 2022, with prior experience as the Coordinador Global de Asesoría Agronómica y Resiliencia Climática at Root Capital from March 2019 to November 2022. Claudio has a robust background in agronomy and climate resilience advisory services, evidenced by roles such as Agriculture and resilience senior advisor and various consulting positions within organizations like the Instituto Interamericano de Cooperación para la Agricultura and Rainforest Alliance. Claudio's expertise includes agricultural technology diagnostics and integrated pest management, along with extensive experience in project management, training events, and information management related to agriculture and natural resources. Claudio holds a Master’s degree in Agriculture and Development from the University of Reading and a Licentiate in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resource Management from Universidad EARTH.
