Douglas Simpson

Douglas Simpson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and operational excellence. Currently serving as the Head of Business Excellence for Philips Image Guided Therapy - Devices and MFG OPEX Region Lead for the Americas since April 2021, Douglas has also held roles such as Lean Master for Philips Image Guided Therapy since October 2015 and Director of Engineering and Facilities at Volcano Corporation. Prior experience includes Senior Director of Manufacturing Operations at Axsun Technologies and a Programmer/Analyst position at Breuer and Co. Douglas accumulated foundational engineering skills as a Product Engineer at Active Control eXperts, Inc. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, attained between 1991 and 1995. Additionally, Douglas contributed to community service as an Elder at Hope Christian Church from 2005 to 2014.
