Eduardo Salcedo has a diverse range of work experience in various roles. Eduardo is currently working as a Mechanical Engineer at Volcon | ePowersports. In their previous role as a Product Development Lead at Shield Restraint Systems, Inc., Eduardo led the development and launch of two new retractor products by conducting benchmarking, creating product requirement documents, designing components, and coordinating with other departments for supplier identification, prototyping, testing, and production. Eduardo also played a key role in adapting dual sense ELRs to create a web acceleration emergency locking retractor, resulting in in-house production and the elimination of a high-cost supplier.

Prior to that, Eduardo worked as an Application Engineer at Shield Restraint Systems, Inc., where they successfully grew the company's largest UTV customer account by $8MM per year through collaboration with sales, purchasing, and client teams. Eduardo also authored a design standards manual and created pseudo-component models to streamline the launch process for new belts.

Eduardo has also contributed their skills on a pro bono basis, serving as a Lead Design Engineer Contractor for a low-cost 3D printed prosthetic hand project.

Furthermore, they have experience as an Engineering Researcher at Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI, where they conducted research on stretchable printed electronics, developed testing tools and methodologies, and optimized parameters for flash sintering to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Eduardo also managed the 3D Printing Lab during their time at the university.

Prior to that, Eduardo worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Semiconductor Test Supply, LLC.

Eduardo Salcedo, MS, CAM, AMP, CSWP has a strong educational background in engineering and language studies. Eduardo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Motorsports Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in German Studies from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. Eduardo then continued their education at the same university to complete their Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2015 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Eduardo has also obtained several certifications. Eduardo is a Certified Additive Manufacturing (CAM) professional, which they obtained from SME in May 2016. Eduardo is also a Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA), having completed their certification from Dassault Systèmes in May 2013. Furthermore, they are a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) since October 2012, also obtained from Dassault Systèmes. These certifications demonstrate their expertise and proficiency in using the SolidWorks software for design and their knowledge in additive manufacturing techniques.
