Andres Sammarco

Andres Sammarco has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Andres started their career at Dell as a Backoffice employee in 2008. Andres then moved on to Springer Carrier, where they worked in the export department, handling logistics, sales forecasting, cost analysis, and profit margins. In 2011, they joined EY as a Trainee and subsequently held positions as an Advisory Consultant, Senior Advisory Consultant, and Manager - Risk, leading transformation projects in enterprise risk management, internal controls, internal audit, compliance, corporate governance, and process review. In 2018, they joined Marcopolo S.A. as the Global Risk Management and Internal Audit, and they are currently the Chief Financial Officer at Volgren Australia since 2023.

Andres Sammarco has an extensive education history. Andres obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Contabilidade e Finanças from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2022. Prior to this, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Logística from Unisinos in 2017.

Andres also holds a Bachelor's degree in Administração de Empresas from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, which they received from 2005 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Andres has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Product Cost Engineering from Nexus at University of Michigan Engineering in 2022, Gestão de Custos from Fundação Getulio Vargas in 2020, Membro IIA from IIA Brasil in 2017, Advanced Management Certificate from Harvard Business School in 2013, Test of English for International Communication Nivel Avançado - 860 pontos from TOEIC® Program in 2012, and Comércio Internacional from Banco do Brasil in 2010.
