Ian Smith

Ian Smith is a seasoned civil engineering professional with extensive experience in site management and engineering roles. Currently serving as a Senior Site Engineer at Bowmer and Kirkland Ltd since July 2023, Ian has held the position of Senior Engineer at VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd since July 2021. Ian's career began as a Junior Engineer at Galliford Try from February 2002 to September 2006, followed by a long tenure at Bowmer and Kirkland as a Site Engineer from October 2006 to July 2021. Ian holds an HND in Civil Engineering from New College Nottingham, where studies were completed from 2002 to 2005, and attended Robert Pattinson School from 1993 to 1999.
