Ernest Sluik

Ernest Sluik is a seasoned Maintenance Engineer with extensive experience in the railway infrastructure sector, currently employed at VolkerRail since July 2008. With a background in maintenance engineering at ProRail from September 2004 to July 2008, and previous roles as Project Leader Investments at NedTrain Refurbishments & Overhaul Haarlem and Nedtrain from 2000 to 2004, Ernest has a proven track record in operational improvement and problem-solving. Additionally, Ernest owned and operated 123 fit!, providing nutritional advice for wellness and sports from May 2004 to May 2010. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Maintenance and Asset Management from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
