Austin Ellerman

Austin Ellerman has a strong background in civil engineering and transportation engineering. Austin started their career at GPD Group in 2001 as a Transportation Engineer, where they led storm water management design for a major freeway project. Austin worked on integrating existing storm systems and implementing cost-saving solutions. Austin then joined CCI Engineering Services in 2017 as a Civil Engineer, where they worked on utility design for a design-build contract in Cleveland. Austin demonstrated their ability to coordinate with multiple firms and effectively communicate expectations. Most recently, they became the Chief Designer at Volkert, Inc. in 2020.

Austin Ellerman earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Construction Engineering from The University of Akron from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology/Technician from Stark State College between 2002 and 2009. In 2000 and 2001, Austin also completed a Vocational Degree in Drafting from Portage Lakes Career Center.
