Alan Armstrong

Alan Armstrong is an accomplished quality management professional with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Serving as the Manager of Quality Analysis and Planning at Volkswagen Group South Africa since December 2019, Alan has held various pivotal roles across multiple Volkswagen divisions, including Head of Quality Assurance at Volkswagen Group Malaysia and Head of Quality Purchase Parts at Volkswagen India. Alan's career also includes significant positions at VOLKSWAGEN OF SOUTH AFRICA and Volkswagen Group China, focusing on quality assurance and customer care. Alan holds a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Vaal Triangle Technicon, earned between 1982 and 1985.
