Andile Dlamini has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Andile started their career as a journalist at the New Era - Springs & Brakpan Advertiser in 1995. From there, they moved on to work as a Communication Specialist at the Midrand City Council. In 2000, they joined the National Development Agency as a Communications and Marketing Officer. In 2002, Andile joined BMW Group South Africa as the Manager of Plant Communications. Andile then transitioned to Toyota South Africa in 2006, where they served as the Manager of Product PR. Andile later joined Volkswagen Group South Africa in 2009, initially as a Product PR and later as a Personal Assistant to the Managing Director. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Communications at Volkswagen Group South Africa.

Andile Dlamini completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Nelson Mandela University Business School in 2020. Prior to that, in 2016, they obtained a PDBA (Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration) from the same institution. In 2004, Andile earned an MDP (Management Development Program) in Business Administration and Management from Wits Business School. Andile began their higher education journey by completing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Zululand between 1990 and 1994. Andile completed their secondary education at Olwandle High School from 1986 to 1990, obtaining a matric qualification.
