Martina Biene

Martina Biene has extensive experience in the automotive industry, primarily with the Volkswagen Group. Martina is currently serving as the Chairperson and Managing Director at Volkswagen Group South Africa, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Product Line Small at Volkswagen AG from September 2020 to October 2022. Before that, they were the Head of Volkswagen Brand South Africa at Volkswagen Group South Africa from October 2018 to September 2020. Martina Biene also served as the Head of Product Marketing VW Passenger Cars at Volkswagen AG from September 2016 to October 2018.

Martina Biene studied Theology/Theological Studies at The University of Göttingen from 1995 to 2000, earning a degree.
