Raseeka R.

Raseeka R. has over a decade of experience in environmental engineering and regulatory affairs, currently serving as the Manager of Government and Regulatory Affairs at Volkswagen Group Canada since July 2011, where responsibilities include coordinating regulatory development planning related to environmental and safety standards. Raseeka R. has previously held positions as a Project Engineer with Environment Canada, managing regulatory amendments for fuel quality regulations, and as a Biologist at Health Canada, conducting health risk assessments under the Chemicals Management Plan. Educational qualifications include a BASc in Chemical Engineering and a BSc in Biochemistry Honours (Biotechnology) from the University of Ottawa. Key achievements include receiving departmental recognition awards for contributions to fuel quality parameter recommendations and for developing educational materials on Renewable Fuels Regulations.
