Carl-Julius Harling

Carl-Julius Harling is an experienced professional currently serving as a Project Management Officer in the field of power electronics development at Volkswagen AG since January 2020. Harling is responsible for data maintenance, information provision, vendor management, budget tracking, schedule creation, and training project members. Previously, Harling worked as a Lean Teamer, focusing on the implementation of the Volkswagen production system in mechanical manufacturing and assembly of electric drives. Educationally, Harling holds a Master of Engineering in Technical Innovation Management from Hochschule Harz, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Automation Technology from Hochschule Harz, and completed a semester abroad in Global Management of Innovation and Technology at LUT University. Harling's earlier experiences include a research assistant role at Hochschule Harz, a bachelor thesis at BMW Group on circuit board monitoring, and an internship in production at BMW. Harling also completed an apprenticeship as an automation electronics technician at Volkswagen AG.
