Currently, Dr. Kunze serves as the Head of Unified Cell Development at Volkswagen AG and previously held leadership roles related to battery anode development and requirements management. Dr. Kunze's background includes significant positions at Continental and SCHOTT, focusing on battery cell component development and the optimization of solid-state electrolytes. Dr. Kunze holds a doctoral degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Münster and a diploma in Physical Chemistry from Technische Universität Clausthal, complemented by a qualification in Chemical Laboratory Technology.
