Aditya Shinde

Aditya Shinde is a highly skilled professional in systems engineering and safety, currently serving as a Senior SDS Systems and Safety Engineer at Volkswagen of America, Inc. since January 2025. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior System Safety Engineer at Torc Robotics, where Aditya led initiatives related to Safety of the Intended Function (SOTIF) and functional safety in accordance with ISO standards. Aditya's engineering background was further established at ZF Group, focusing on the creation of system requirements and development of core system architecture. Academic achievements include a Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from SRM IST Chennai. Aditya has also contributed to academia as a Teaching Assistant and an Academic Tutor, demonstrating a commitment to education and mentorship in engineering fields.
