Nathan Smith's work experience begins in 2017 as a Senior Research Scientist at Dstl. Nathan then joins The University of Manchester in 2018 as a Research Fellow, where they lead research collaborations with international partners and receives research funding from various organizations. In 2021, Nathan founds Stirland Research Ltd to provide psychological science solutions to mission-focused organizations. Nathan becomes the Head of Human Performance at Vollebak in 2022, responsible for translating research and developing science-based products for the brand. Additionally, Nathan becomes an Associate Professor at Coventry University in 2022.
Nathan Smith received their Bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Birmingham, which they attended from 2007 to 2010. Nathan then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Sport Psychology, also at the University of Birmingham, from 2011 to 2015.
