Luke Jenkinson

Luke Jenkinson is a highly experienced professional in the field of performance and sports science, currently serving as the Director of Performance at D.C. United since January 2023. With a robust academic background that includes a Professional Doctorate from Liverpool John Moores University and a Master's of Research in Applied Sports Science from the University of Derby, Luke holds extensive practical experience. Positions held include Associate Lecturer at the University of Derby, and various roles at Derby County Football Club, where significant responsibilities included leading a team focused on the athletic development of players from the first team to the academy. Luke has also contributed to the sports science landscape internationally, having worked with the GB Climbing Team and the Tata Group in India, as well as consulting for clubs in Norway and England.
