Stott Barwick has extensive experience in engineering and design roles. Stott is currently working as a Senior Project Engineer at Volley Automation since July 2021. Before this, they worked as a Mechanical Design Manager at S&S Worldwide, Inc. from December 2015 to August 2021.
Prior to their role at S&S Worldwide, Inc., Stott held the position of Sr. Project Engineer at Boomerang Systems, Inc. from December 2007 to November 2015. In this role, they collaborated with client design teams, directed other Project Engineers, and conducted system simulations and analysis.
Before that, they were a Design Manager at S&S Worldwide, Inc. from December 2002 to December 2007. Here, they coordinated workload between Engineering and Design Teams, participated in cross-functional team reviews, and reviewed design documents.
Stott also served as the General Manager at AirCAD 2000 from January 2002 to December 2002. In this role, they communicated with clients and managed daily operations and personnel in the St. George office.
Earlier in their career, they worked as a Structural Designer at Arrow Dynamics, Inc. from December 1999 to December 2001. Here, they were involved in drafting, detailing, and designing rollercoasters, working with the internal engineering department and shop personnel.
Stott started their career as a Structural Detailer at GEM Buildings from January 1995 to December 1999. In addition to drafting and detailing steel buildings, they also administered a network of Windows workstations and contributed to the company's software and hardware decisions.
Stott Barwick attended ITT Technical Institute-Murray from 1992 to 1994, where they earned an Associate's degree in Computer Aided Design and Drafting.
