Tom Volpe

Tom Volpe is an accomplished consultant at Voltic Enterprises since March 2022, with extensive experience in hardware architecture and design spanning over three decades. Prior to this role, Tom served as a Principal Hardware Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from April 2014 to February 2022, focusing on cloud-scale machine learning acceleration. At Calxeda, Inc., Tom held various positions from October 2009 to February 2014, including Fabric Design Lead, and was responsible for significant contributions to fabric architecture and design verification, leading to multiple patents. Tom's career also includes notable experience at Analog Devices, Inc. as a Senior Design Engineer and at Motorola, Inc., where contributions to ASIC and microprocessor design resulted in additional patents and publications. Tom obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with High Honors from The University of Texas at Austin.
