Lisa Johnston

Lisa Johnston has extensive work experience in various roles. Lisa began their career as a Research Assistant at Fonterra, where they worked until 2009. Lisa then joined ANZCO Foods as a Laboratory Technician for a year. In 2011, Lisa started working at Victoria University of Wellington as a Deputy Lab Manager, where they mentored and trained junior postgraduate students in clinical research. Lisa also worked as a Research Assistant under the supervision of Associate Professor Anne La Flamme, where they optimized and implemented a clinical assay related to Multiple Sclerosis. In 2015, Lisa joined Volpara Health as a Clinical Analyst. Lisa later moved up to the role of Product Manager and is currently serving as the Lead Product Manager since October 2019.

Lisa Johnston completed their Bachelor of Biomedical Science (BBMedSc) degree with a major in Molecular Pathology at Victoria University of Wellington from 2006 to 2008. Lisa then pursued further studies at the same university and obtained a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, 1st Class Honours (BBMedSc Hons) degree in 2010. Lisa continued their education at Victoria University of Wellington and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Research - Cardiology from 2011 to 2014.
