Karol Filipczuk

Karol Filipczuk has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and application administration. Karol started their career as an Associate Analyst Programmer at Orbium in April 2016 and worked in that role until January 2018. Karol then progressed to the role of Analyst Programmer at Orbium, where they worked until March 2019.

After their tenure at Orbium, Karol joined DXC Technology in April 2019 as an Application Administrator. In this role, they were responsible for the administration and maintenance of a Linux application in the core banking system of a private bank in Germany. Their daily tasks included working with Linux (RHEL), Oracle DB, Avaloq, and Python. Karol worked at DXC Technology until December 2020.

Karol then joined Accenture in January 2021 as a Cloud Migration & Implementation Senior Analyst. In this role, they served as a DevOps Engineer and was responsible for CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and AWS CodeDeploy. Karol also handled architecture design and provisioning of AWS infrastructure using CloudFormation. Their tech stack included AWS, RedHat/Amazon Linux, GitLab CI, AWS CodeDeploy, CloudFormation, Serverless framework, and scripting in Bash, Python, and JS. Karol worked at Accenture until August 2022.

Currently, Karol is working as a DevOps Engineer at Volt.io since August 2022.

Karol Filipczuk completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology in the years 2012 to 2016. Following that, they pursued a Magister (Mgr) degree in Informatyka from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology from 2016 to 2019. Alongside their educational achievements, Karol obtained various certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in March 2021, AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2021, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2021, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate from HashiCorp in March 2022, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2020, and Avaloq Certified Professional from Avaloq in June 2016.
