Chase Karlen is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in various roles focused on information security. Currently serving as Cybersecurity Manager and Cyber Security Team Lead at Volta, Inc. since April 2020, Chase has previously held the position of Information Security Analyst at the University of Kentucky Information Technology Services from November 2018 to April 2020. Responsibilities included vulnerability management, analysis of honeypot systems, and oversight of network traffic legality. Chase also built and maintained an automation toolkit and created an internship program for students in the cybersecurity field. Earlier experience as a Systems Administrator at Creative-information technologies involved troubleshooting, network performance monitoring, and client technical support. Chase holds a degree in Information Communication Technology with a focus on Cybersecurity from the University of Kentucky, completed in 2020.
