Ing. John Jerome Ampah has extensive experience in electrical engineering, primarily with the Volta River Authority since 2004, holding various positions including Electrical Engineer, Assistance Chief Technician Engineer, and currently, Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer since January 2018. Responsibilities have included planning and coordinating maintenance activities at gas turbine generating power stations, as well as preparing maintenance schedules to enhance plant reliability at the Tema Thermal Power Complex. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation Engineering from Regent University College and multiple diplomas in automation and engineering from institutions in India.
