Amin Aramoon, PhD

Amin Aramoon, PhD, has a diverse work experience in various technical roles. Amin is currently working as a Staff Software Developer at Voltron Data since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Technical Lead Manager at Aeva from May 2020 to September 2022. Amin also worked as a Senior C++ Software Developer at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development North America from December 2019 to April 2020. Amin Aramoon gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer Research Development at Apogee Research, LLC from October 2017 to December 2019. Amin was also a Principal Software Developer and Research Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University, contributing to the SoftHub project and developing open-source libraries for LAMMPS, from October 2016 to October 2017 and from September 2012 to October 2016, respectively. Additionally, they worked as an Afterschool Science Mentor at SABES: STEM Achievement in Baltimore Elementary Schools from September 2015 to September 2016. Amin Aramoon has also demonstrated their skills as a Mobile Application Developer during their self-employment venture from May 2015 to September 2016. Amin started their professional journey as a Freelance Software Developer from July 2010 to July 2012.

Amin Aramoon, PhD, has a strong educational background in engineering. Amin obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Structural Engineering from the same university, completing it in 2011. Amin's dedication to furthering their knowledge led him to The Johns Hopkins University, where they completed a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2012 to 2014. Driven by their passion for research and academia, Amin continued their educational journey at The Johns Hopkins University, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering in 2016.
