Kaouther Abrougui

Kaouther Abrougui has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and research. In 2005, they started as a Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa, where they worked until 2011. During this time, they also worked as an Independent Researcher and conducted various research projects. From 2008 to 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer at Concursoft.

In 2011, Kaouther joined AllianceIT Inc as a Senior Software Engineer and held this position until 2016. Concurrently, they worked as a Researcher, focusing on independent research projects.

In 2016, they joined GE as a Staff Software Engineer in the GE Digital division. Kaouther also worked as a Senior Software Engineer in the GE Aviation division from December 2016 to December 2017.

Starting in July 2019, they worked at Cisco Systems as part of the Enterprise Networking team, specifically focusing on Cisco DNA Center. From April 2021 to March 2022, they held the role of CX Multicloud Chief Technology Office within the company.

Most recently, they joined Voltron Data in March 2022 as a Senior Software Engineer.

Kaouther Abrougui holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, which they obtained in 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2006. In terms of additional certifications, Kaouther obtained a Data Analytics certification from eCornell in December 2021. Kaouther also completed a Data Science @Cisco Green Belt certification from Cisco in June 2021. Additionally, they hold a Machine Learning certification from eCornell (June 2021), a Developing Application using Cisco Core Platforms & APIs certification from Cisco (February 2021), and a Security Green Belt (Security Space Fleet) certification from Cisco (January 2021). Furthermore, Kaouther has a Machine Learning certification from Coursera (March 2019) and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) obtained in December 2021.
