Laura Switzer

Laura Switzer has extensive work experience in the energy industry, specifically in regulatory compliance. Laura started their career in 2009 at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission as an Energy Industry Analyst, a role they held until 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Laura worked as an Economist at the same commission. In 2019, they joined NRG Energy as a Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager, a position they held until 2023. Currently, Laura is the Director of Regulatory Compliance at Voltus.

Laura Switzer earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies and Economics, magna cum laude, from Allegheny College in 2007. Laura later pursued their Master's degree in Public and Environmental Affairs at the O'Neill School, which they completed between 2007 and 2009.
